Objectives:

The MRN pursues the goal of being “known and recognized as one of the most attractive and competitive regions in Europe” (Vision 2025). Based on the state treaty between Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate of 26.7.2005, the decision-makers of the three regional institutions have set themselves a strategic framework and are constantly developing it further. The region should be resilient and recognize and tackle the challenges of the future at an early stage. Within this framework, the stakeholders act together and pool their resources and expertise in coordinated concepts and projects in order to strengthen and expand the MRN’s profile as a progressive, committed and liveable region.

Projects:

  • Sustainable and needs-based mobility (e.g. mobility pact)
